Elevating Community Dentistry
Dr. Elias Khoury
Dr. Elias Khoury grew up in the East Bay, spending his childhood in Fremont and Pleasanton, California, and has always had dentistry close to his heart. Inspired by his father, who practiced dentistry for over 35 years, Dr. Khoury explored the field first as a surgical assistant and eventually found his calling in the blend of science, service, and hands-on care that dentistry uniquely offers. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Saint Mary's College of California, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.
Since graduating, Dr. Khoury has gained experience from working in a variety of practices across California, sometimes serving in four different practices within a five-day workweek. This deliberate dive into diverse office cultures, technologies, and patient populations allowed him to sharpen his skills and form a clear vision for the kind of practice he wanted to lead. That vision is now Sea Smiles Dental: a space where quality care and patient trust go hand in hand.
Dr. Khoury’s clinical strengths lie in surgical procedures such as implant restorations, bone grafting, and extractions. Thanks to extensive continuing education, including hands-on implant courses and oral conscious sedation certification, he offers a level of expertise rarely found in general practice. He approaches dentistry comprehensively, making sure patients understand their full oral health picture up front, so they can plan for the long term without surprises down the road.
Believing in the golden rule of care, treat others the way you’d want to be treated, Dr. Khoury focuses on making every experience seamless, transparent, and comfortable. For him, there’s nothing more fulfilling than hearing a once-anxious patient say they felt truly at ease in his chair.
Outside the office, Dr. Khoury enjoys golfing, trying out new restaurants, going to the gym, traveling, and spending quality time with his wife, family, and close friends.

Dr. Susan Sheets
Dr. Susan Sheets has been a cornerstone of the office for many years and continues to see sleep apnea patients one day a week. While her role may evolve in the future, her presence remains a valuable bridge between the patients of yesterday and the practice's forward-thinking future.
